I have heard some people say that it's risky to be Direct and that it's far less risky to be indirect with women. However, this is a total myth and in this post I'll explain why it's far riskier to be indirect than it is to be Direct.
Usually the sort of people who claim Direct is riskier than indirect are clueless guys who have very little success with women. Why would you listen to guys like that?
The biggest risk with indirect
Without a doubt the biggest problem with indirect is that it leaves the door wide open for women to play games with you and manipulate you.
Indirect also leaves you susceptible to wasting time, money and energy on women who are not on the same page as you and who you will not end up hooking up with.
Please note, I'm not saying all women are manipulative and that you should be a paranoid. In fact I've already said in a previous post that most women aren't heartless bitches. I'm just making you aware of what's potentially out there and the risks of being indirect.
How indirect leaves the door open for women to manipulate you
When you are indirect with a woman, all you're basically doing is having a friendly, pleasant, platonic conversation. You're not actually getting anywhere with her romantically/sexually.
Manipulative women love indirect men because it allows them to toy with these men and get what they want from him.
Here's a technique manipulative women tend to use: when a guy is indirect, a manipulative woman 'dangles the carrot' of the chance of hooking up with her in front of him, but she never ACTUALLY hooks up with him, and while doing so she makes sure she gets everything out of him she wants, such as money, attention, free gifts, career advancement, etc. She never does anything sexual with him. Then as soon as she's rinsed him for everything she wants, she's gone.
The guy was hoping to hook up with her, but all he did was waste his time, money and energy on a woman was never romantically/sexually interested in him in the first place. Of course he's going to be angry and bitter if this happens.
Many men around the world regularly fall victim to this common manipulative strategy. But fortunately there is a way to avoid falling victim to it for good...
How Direct takes away a woman's manipulative powers
When a guy is Direct with a woman, he makes it absolutely clear right from the start that he is looking for a lover and not a friend, and if the woman doesn't reciprocate then he simply moves on to another woman. He doesn't stick around to allow her to play her games or waste his time, money or energy. He cuts her loose and finds a woman who will reciprocate what he is looking for.
Direct effectively puts a dead stop to a woman's manipulative powers; they simply won't work on him. When she realises her games won't work on him, she'll leave him alone. It's virtually impossible for a Direct guy to be manipulated by women, and that is a fantastic effect of the power of Direct.
Conclusion
By now you will see that indirect is far riskier than Direct. Don't say you've never fallen victim to the common manipulative strategy I outlined in this post. I know you have, and so have most guys at some point in their lives. It's time to start doing things the Direct way. Do you really want to take the risk and be an indirect chump all your life?
